Well Sammy has been home for quite a while now. We all love her so much - who knew a bird could be soooo much fun! She seems to like hanging out with me as much as as I like hanging out with her! She still really enjoys her walks to the pool and the way everyone pays attention to her. I have to say, she is beautiful :-)
I would just like to mention if anyone out there is thinking about getting a bird (cause they are the best pets ever!) there are some things you need to think about...one of which is...

FlightSuit that is easy - just get her (or him) dressed and then she can help with laundry, cleaning, and watch TV with you without any hassle what-so-ever!! You have a buddy wherever you go (and no mess!!)
Everytime we take Sammy out of her cage we put a FlightSuit on her. At first we would give her a special treat to let her know that is was a good thing to get dressed. Now she just knows it is part of the routine. It makes taking her anywhere so easy.... I wish she could come clothes shopping with me!!
