What's Happening

Right now we are getting ready to help introduce a very exciting, unique Soft collar from a new emerging Company called "Picky Parrot Products". This collar is geared for birds that pluck and pick out their feathers. It allows the birds to move about freely but protects the delicate skin and feathers below the level of the Collar. We have talked with literally hundreds of customers who have birds that need special protection that this collar will provide. The Inventor and Designer, Patti Lemaire, has been working on this prototype for years and has used with her parrots. Now she is finally ready to get it to market and Avian Fashions is very happy to work with her in Partnership. This will launch in April.

A Fortified Funfetti Velour FlightSuit will be launched in March here on our Website www.avianfashions.com which in response to customer feedback--which will allow the FlightSuits to be more durable and longer lasting for birds that like to chew and play with their FlightSuits. Pictures will be posted soon.

We are in the process of revamping our Web Site introducing YouTube Videos from our Breeders to make donning the FlightSuit easier for our customers. We also are now on Twitter a good fit for us so we can get "Tweet" our specials from our Birdie Blog out to our feathered fans quickly.

We recently introduced our Birdie Hoodie which is adorable and just slips over the head much like our FeatherSweaters do. They come in a variety of colors and have a rainbow hood and drawstring. Perfect for the Spring. Our favorite Spring Costume--Avian Attire--is the Birdy Bunny. A colorful vest with a cap including Bunny Ears--always get a chuckle.

FlightSuits are great for Travel--I recommend the FleeceSuit for journeying on Air Planes, Trains and in Cars--especially this time of the year since it is warmer and protects your bird from drafts and chills. Depending on the bird type they can be worn for up to 8 hours at a time.

FlightSuits are now sold Internationally as far away as Israel, New Zealand and South Africa! FlightSuits encourage more people to purchase birds and make life better for the bird and owner by allowing more interaction, more freedom and fun with less mess.
